A newly translated edition of this Judo classic by one of the most famous
Judo 10th dans. This is an excellent 256 page book with lots of techniques
not shown in other books, including ankle and knee locks. Originally
published in 1956 with an almost incomprehensible English translation, it
has been out of print for decades. The original publisher released this
new edition in June 2004 with the original photos and an excellent English
translation.

The manuals are part of the Miyama Ryu system (founded in 1960) which is
based on traditional Japanese jujutsu, aikido, and judo. Good books with lots of solid information to study.
